Planning our annual trip

I am finally booking our Nov 07 disney trip in 2 weeks. We are going to arrive on November 25th and leave December 1. We are hoping going then it will be less crowded since we have always went the last week of March when my son is on Spring break. Now all of my boys are homeschooled so we can go when ever we want. My question to you ladies is will disney be in the christmas/holiday season by them. I know I cannot book any ADR's and what not until July so I am not to worried about that just trying to get everything planned out so I can book what I can now and have everything else ready to book in July. Will the parks be decked out in the holiday yet this early? Have they usually started The Very Merry Chrismtas Party yet? These were things we were considering while going at the end of the year as it would be very neat for the boys to see disney in a different light(not that they mind no matter when we go), just thought this would be an added bonus. I still have to make up my mind on how many days of park hoppers but I have awhile to figure that out and I know I will change my mind a million times before I book, but these were things I was considering when deciding on how many days to spend in the parks. Thank you.

Hi, Jenny. I don't know the answers to your questions but I wanted to let you know that you can make your ADR's on May 29th. That is 180 days away from your arrival date.

I know the other ladies will be around over the weekend and can help you with your questions. I haven't been to Disney in Nov/Dec. so I don't know.

Full decorations go up after Thanksgiving and decorations start to go up mid November. This past year (06) they had some MVMCP in Nov, but in the past it had always started the first full week of December. Early December is our favorite time to go, we love the parks at the holidays! check the timesg uide when you get there for the storytellers in Epcot, they're a hit with our crowd.

I was there Nov 30 - Dec 5, 2006. We could have attended MVMCP twice. We went once and it was great. The parks were beautiful. It was definitely less crowded in general (last time I went was July). One note about the park hoppers - I think we could have attended MVMCP without a park hopper pass. Double check that, but when we picked up the tickets at will call they suggested we do something else during the day so we didn't use a day on our pass. There are holiday themed parades, life-size gingerbread houses, adorable Christmas character hats. My favorites have always been the fireworks (and always cry), but the fireworks at MVMCP were magical. I am so glad we went at that time of year. Have fun!
