I've grown up going to Disney. But I haven't taken the kids who are now 10yo (twin boys)

Thanks,

YAY!! You get to plan a trip!! :)

I haven't been at Thanksgiving before but I would guess that it would be fairly busy but not as overwhelming as Christmas or Spring Break. :)

What I do for tickets is go to Expedia and Travelocity and checking to see what airlines are offering the lowest prices and then head to the websites for those airlines b/c it is usually the cheapest way to go.

I have stayed onsite and off and I would really try to do a Value onsite if I were you. It is really great, esp. with kids, to be right there. It's easier to head back to the room for an afternoon break and you will also get Magical Express service so no need to rent a car. :)

BTW-Love the quote on your siggy!!

i hear that thanksgiving week is really busy!

well there are definitely many advantages to staying on site. Magical express, extra magic hours, to name a few.
With the deals around, i would look seriously at the value resorts...
