Yes, they are both deluxe resorts. A huge difference in the price is that all important realty phrase 'location, location location'. The Poly is on the monorail line and sits directly across the Seven Seas lagoon from the Magic Kingdom. You can catch the monorail right outside the Grand Ceremonial House and it is steps away from the Transportation and Ticket Center where you can catch the monorail to Epcot or the express to the MK, or take the ferry to the MK.

They are both Deluxe properties and are considered "Magic Kingdom" resorts b/c the MK is the closest park to them.
