Question about annual tix price increase

My sister and her family are thinking about joining us next April for our Easter Disney trip (Hooray!! Please send lots of pixie dust that it comes true this time around!! LOL). I'm trying to price out expenses for them and I noticed that the MYW tix prices had increased in Jan '06. I believe the new MYW system of tix came out on 1/1/05. So do you think I can safely assume that we can expect another price increase in Jan '07?

The price increases have typically been January 1. The only year offhand I can think of that they weren't Jan 1 was 2002 becuase the tourism industry was hit hard by 9/11. All other Orlando parks had their customary ticket increase on 1/1/02 but DIsney didn't. I think that year it came around March or May.
So buy tickets when you can afford them if you're not doing a package. They don't expire until after you use them. If you plan on doing a package (or they rather since you'll be using DVC) then set aside money as you have it.
edited to add that I meant - buy tickets as you can afford them even if it's one at a time over the course of a year or so. Just be sure to put them in a lock box or soemwhere else you won't lose them! lol
Thanks to you both! I wanted to suggest that to my sister but wasn't sure if that was a "popular" thing to do ("popular" as in "smart" or "just something us crazy Disny-aholics would think of doing" LOL) :D
