Ok, my DH just finished talking to our neighbor. They just got back from Disney. They stayed at Pop Century. They got the free meal deal also! Now he said that he hasn't heard any good reports about the Magical Express, that they just picked up their luggage from the turnstyles or whatever you call them, lol

Laurie in OH, thank you for posting your cutting-it-close experience -- something to think about!

We will be arriving around 8 p.m. -- will they really deliver our bags to our room at midnight? I imagine if we ask the right people (ME or the resort?) they will deliver them at a civilized hour the next morning....or, I wonder if they'll make us come to the lobby to get them? Wouldn't be real thrilled about that since we're staying at Ft. Wilderness cabins (at the moment...could decide to change that of course!).

We just came back last week and used ME. It was great. We landed and went to the ME line, which was VERY long. Even though we were at the back of the line, we were on a bus with in 10 minutes. I am not sure when our bags arrived, but I had packed essentials in our carry on, so I wasn't worried. The bags were in our room by 8 when we returned from the parks.

You can ask when you check in for them to hold your bags until morning - otherwise, yes, they'll knock on your door at midnight if that's when they come. They'll bring them up in the am or you can specify that you'll bring them.

Actually - since you're staying at the cabins, you can ask them to just leave your bags on the porch and/or leave a note on your door with those instructions. Your Do Not Disturb sign is magnetic. Just use it to stick up a note "Please leave luggage on porch - Thanks" (I'd still let the front desk know that's your intentions)

Just pack your jammies, change of clothes and toothpaste in your carry on.
