I have really old tickets that were originaly 4 day passport tickets for "All three parks" I know there are more than that like I said they are really old. My question is they have only been stamped for 3 days and there is 1 day left on each of them are they still valid being that they have not been used? They were used in 1990, 1992 and 1993. If tickets never expire how do you use the old kind like this? Any input would be great! Thanks.

You can still use them at the 3 parks that existed the day you bought them.

I went to Disney with my family in 1979, when we went back in 84, we forgot to bring back our unused days. WHen I lived in FL briefly in 1990, I was able to use the tickets from 79 and 84, but just at MK and EPCOT.

I'm not sure if you will hav eto exchange them at Guest services, or not, but they are still good!!!

Even though I have my own "old" hopper question, I CAN answer your question. We got tickets that used stamps from our honeymoon in 1995 with one day left on them that we used in 1999. I didn't want to use them for an upgrade because we only went for 2 park days and at that time, to get park hoppers, you had to buy 4 days. So, what I had to do was exchange them (for free) at the ticket window for our MGM/Epcot/MK day and then bought a separate one-day, non-hopping ticket for our MK day.

You can use the value on them towards a new ticket BUT you only get the value of what you actually PAID for them, not the current value, so your one day ticket may not get you the value of 1 day on a multi-day pass (but it may do better with the new ticket system since a 6-day is only a few days more than a 5-day). Just do the math! If you don't use them to upgrade, you can still use them as one-day passes, you just need to trade them out (again, for FREE) to the current ticket media because those won't go through the turnstiles (they don't have the magnetic strip on them).

Now, I'm not completely sure about this, but if you do trade them out for free, you will NOT be able to use them at AK (I didn't try when we did it in 1999...we only went to MGM, Epcot, & MK that day). But, if you use them toward an upgrade, that will not be an issue.

Please note that if you try to do them at MK, you cannot do upgrades or exchanges at the TTC (before you get on the monorail/ferry), but you have to do them at the ticket window AT MK. If you get there within 15-30 minutes before opening, it's very difficult to get to the window before the gates open because after people get through the bag checks, they line up at the turnstiles and we were blocked from getting past them...the line went from the bag checks directly to the turnstiles and it wasn't a busy time. We COULD have pushed through, but it would've been like 4 lines we'd have to push through and that would just be rude. All of the ticket windows open 1 hour before park opening.

I should have just posted this from the get-go: http://www.allearsnet.com/pl/ticket.htm#6

It says basically what I said, but it also says that you can now use pre-MGM & pre-AK tickets for all four parks once you get the new magnetic-strip media. Cool!

But, you can no longer do the ticket credit thing (I guess because of the thing I mentioned with doing the math).

:-) Glad I read all the way through the post first. I was going to say that the ticket WOULD be good at AK also becuase we had to exchange our 1997 passes, pre AK
