We were lucky enough last April to have DHs friend give us his timeshare for a week. We would like to plan our own trip this coming April. We have 6 kids, only 5 will be with us for this trip. We checked rates where we stayed last year but we would like o do better. Any of you have any advice on Disney on the cheap? I wouldn't mind doing the timeshare thing again.

I think the timeshare is the way to go, especially if it's one of the bigger ones.

I have no experience with timeshares, but I'd do a rental house with that many people.

What are the 5 kids ages that are going?

The cabins sleep six but if one of the kids is small enough for a pack-n-play, that may work. Put all the kiddos in the bedroom and you and DH can have the murphy bed. :-) Or a little one can sleep on the couch next to the murphy bed.

I havent always counted my youngest in the room count when she was small enough to sleep with me and DH... well actually she still does sleep with us and she is almost 7.

This may not work if you are buying a package but if you are booking tickets and room separately it could work.
