Our trip is less than two weeks away!!! Though I've only posted a couple of times, I have been reading the boards and just wanted you all to know how much I appreciate you sharing your wisdom with everyone. I have especially enjoyed reading trip reports and am hoping to post a report of our trip when we return. That said, I have been mentally packing and have a question. My DH is allergic to bees and I usually carry an auto-injector syringe of epinephrine (epipen) when we are going to be outdoors. Has anyone ever taken one into the park? I am just wandering if security will have a problem with it. I can't imagine them telling someone they can't take one, but I haven't been since 9/11 happened. TIA

My mom has severe allergies and never goes anywhere without her epipen, including Disney.

Thanks. I really could not imagine it being a problem since it is a prescription and a necessity for some people. I wanted to know ahead of time if security would take longer for us because of it. You ladies really are great!

It won't be a problem at all. In fact, Disney will even store refrigerated medicines in the parks for you (like insulin).

They are really looking for suspicious items (I guess) and they don't allow you to bring in glass bottles or alcohol.
