Sneekers or CROCS?

I just read an article that indicated that CROCS are actually good for your feet http://diabetes.webmd.com/features/crocs-healthy-shoes-just-comfy?ecd=wnl_prg_022407

I brought and wore a variety of shoes. I do have feet issues -- several of them: I get extremely hot feet when they are closed up in sneakers for long periods of time. I have plantar faciliatis or whatever it is when your tendon gets to feeling like it will snap and you feel like you've stepped on a stone with your heal. I have to say that I wore TEVAs to Sea World and that worked out really nicely. Most days at WDW, I wore sneakers and socks. That worked fine for me -- I guess that since we went in October, the hot feet weren't so much an issue. I don't actually own crocs -- I'm not a huge fan of them looks-wise. My DD had and wore a knock-off pair for the first several days of the trip. Then she ended up with a small sore just under her ankle from some part of the shoe rubbing. So from then on it was sneaks.
Good luck!

On my last trip I wore Crocs my first full day and they killed my feet. However, I had just purchased them for the trip and hadn't really wore them before. I bought the "Nile" style (open sandal type) and I loved the style thinking my feet could "breathe" all day since it was in the 90's. This time DH and I are going in December but I plan to wear my Crocs all summer and will break them in. I still plan on taking one or two pairs of sneakers with both of my crocs (Khaki and Pearl Nile's).
