Strollers at DL? (worried about theft)

Ok this is kinda lame, but I have a new Phil & Ted stroller that cost $500 (it's the double stroller). Would you bring that to Disneyland? I am just afraid of it getting stolen when we park it outside any of the rides. I thought we'd just leave it at home and rent two strollers at the park, but we are got a hotel close to the park and are just planning on walking to the park. My youngest two are going to be ages 25 months and 7 months when we go this summer, so I don't want to tote them to/from the park necessarily.
I've never had a problem with my stroller getting stolen, I'm just paranoid since it was really expensive.

I haven't ever taken a stroller to the parks so I can't really say what the chances are of it going missing.
However if you are really worried about it why not buy a cheap stroller just for the trip, 2 umbrella strollers maybe? - I know you can get some that clip together to make a double if you need to.

I'm not sure about DL, but a few years back, we took an expensive double stroller with us to WDW. As far as I know, no one ever noticed it or paid any attention to what brand it was... I have always bought a large mylar balloon when we enter the parks and tie it on tightly to the handle so I can find the stroller easily when it's been moved by the cast members. Like the pp said, I've also left tons of things in the basket, and no one's ever touched any of our belongings. It's been a while since I've been in the market for a stroller, so I'm not sure if the Phil & Ted brand is really distinctive or anything...If it is, maybe cover it with a towel, blanket or something (lots of people do that in case of rain) or consider bringing a cheaper stroller so you won't stress over it!

I don't think it will be a problem. I rarely hear of strollers, or things out of strollers, getting stolen. Do you have the side by side or the one where the second child is kind of under the main seat? If it's the second one I certainly think it will get some looks and comments becuase it's such a different design, but I still don't think it will be stolen - especially since that's a very distinctive stroller. If it's the side by side, I don't think you have much to worry about, it's not so different from other side by sides to attract notice. You definately don't want a child under 3 in a rental stroller. They aren't designed for it and like you said, you can't take them out of the park.
Cast members do move strollers
tie something on the handlebar to make it easy to spot
an adult poncho covers a double side by side nicely - in fact you could, like someone else said, just cover it every time you park it. It will protect it from the weather and will hide it as well as make it easy to spot.
or you could take a cheaper stroller or 2 umbrellas
