Surprise gifts for non-princessy girls?

I half posted this on one of my other posts, but thought I'd do it this way, too.

My two DDs, 9 & 7, are not "into" the Princess scene anymore. Does anyone have ideas for little items I can surprise them with each day? I also have a 3yo DS, but he's really easy to please. :c)They aren't really loving clothes, so a Tshirt wouldn't cut it.

I did think of a few things - what are your opinions on these: sun visors decorated using fabric paint pens with their name (or is that an unsafe idea?)and whatever Disney design comes to mind; a new beach towel-probably HSMusical or Hannah Montana or something like that, Disney sunglasses-as long as they don't have a princess on them, Disney Jibbitz. That's all I've got so far. Oh, and a variety of Disney themed fruit chew snacks - they love those. And I'm hoping to find a fan spray bottle BEFORE we get to Disney, and give them each one of those.

I'd appreciate any ideas you might have.

Thanks! Ciao-Lori

One of my friends just told me about radiodisney.com - they have a place on there where you can design your own shirts (Ts and strappy tanks, etc.). That might be an option for me, too.

Our Disney Store has lots of those magic towels (the tiny packed ones that expand in water) they are fun and have lots of themes other than princess ones - like Nemo, Crush etc.

Do your girls trade pins? if so there are hundreds of different designs/series to chose from there.

Or you could give them a tube (the mini M&M's ones are a good size)filled with pennies and quarters to use in the penny pressing machines - then another surprise could be a pressed penny collection book.

There are some good deals at Dinseydirect.com right now on accessories, PJs, and cute shirts that aren't necessarily t-shirts. I picked up quite a few items to pack away for our next trip when I shopped there last week.

The biggest hit with my older girls last trip was probably the Mickey-head crystal necklace charm. It's simple and nice.

Caution those mini m&m tubes filled with pennies and quaters get HEAVY in your bag all day!!!!

Zazzle.com has a great Disney collection of shirts and even sweatshirts you can design yourself.

you've gotten some great advice already! How about Kim Possible stuff? My soon to be 7 YO LOVES her!

Also they may like to get Disney Villian stuff! ALthough mine are still into the princesses, they also like things with Cruella De Ville and Ursula on them!!

Just ask them a few casual questions and you may be surprised with what they can tell you!
