Thanksgiving Disney vacation

We are going to Florida the week of Thanksgiving, and I am soooo excited! If we can only squeeze in 3 parks, which ones would you suggest. It will be Magic Kingdom and Epcot for sure! My kids are ages 7 and 9, and we went 3 years ago to Magic Kingdom, Universal and Kennedy Space Center- Universal was our least favorite, but it may be better when the kids are older. Has anyone else been to Disney at Thanksgiving?
TIA

Welcome Kathy - we usually go just after Thanksgiving in early December. If you can only do 3 parks I would suggest Epcot, AK & MK.
We'll be there the week before you, leaving for home on the Monday before Thanksgiving.

In November, if I had to pick my 3 it would be MK, Epcot, and MGM because of the Osbourne lights.
Thank you all! I am soooo excited! I think we are leaning more towards MGM too, since the lights sound so pretty. I am trying to plan out which park on which day, and I think it will be Magic Kingdom on Thanksgiving. Any suggestions on a good place to eat turkey? Maybe Liberty Tavern? or should we just go for those huge turkey legs? :-D
Maybe I'll see you there Shay!
Thanks again.
Kathy
I'm on the phone w/ dining now (345 Thursday)
WOW! You are good!
Bummer about Liberty Tree Tavern though, I thought that would have been cool. Guess I had better get hoppin if we want something besides turkey legs, huh.
Thanks again.
LOL, I'm a Disney travel agent. I'm on the phone with them A LOT and often I'm multi tasking. Today I happen to be reading the board while on the phone w/ dining.
I've heard the turkey legs at MK are delic. I don't like dark meat so haven't tried them, but they're HUGE also! lol
Dining reservations for all WDW restrauarants can be made 180 days in advance. If you are staying at a Disney resort you can make your dining reservations for your entire trip on the first 180 day mark instead of having to call back each day. Holiday always book fast and first. Other popular meals are breakfast in the castle, and chef mickey's.
I just got back and went with my inlaws. My nieces are 3 and 4 (just turned 3 and 4) and it was great with them. The 3yr old had a great time.
I think that 2 1/2 is a good age too. There were a LOT of children there that were 2 years old.
I say go for it!
Good luck.
