At what age does WDW start charging for tickets? Everything I read says 3 and up. Will we have to buy a ticket for a Character Meal for a 2 year old? How about admission to Magic Kingdom?

Thanks,

K

You have read right!! 2 year olds get a free ride. I can't think of anything that they charge for, but others will jump in with what they do charge for.

I can't think of anything that I had to pay for my 2yo (well, except souvenirs, popcorn, balloons, hats LOL). No charge for park tix and even for our buffet PSs - I just looked over my Cinderella breakfast receipt - there is a charge for adults, one child (my DD5) and it lists (1) under 3 meal - no charge! And she ate the same meal as my 5 yo! I think I only had to pay at counter service when I ordered a separate item for her, same for sit-down ala carte restaurants. But the buffets were a great deal!!

Enjoy them while they are free!!

We just bought our tickets and under 3 is free for park admission, doesnt count as a occupant in the hotel room (because there is a limit of people in the DL hotel rooms) and goofy's kitchen you do not have to pay for him either. Its so great! Our youngest is 27 months so this will be the last time we get one of the kids in free.
