I don't feel prepared at all. Somehow Disney two years ago was easier than our trip for the two of us. Has anyone taken one of the behind the scenes tours? I was considering the AK one.........
The only 2 tours we have taken were not behind the scenes due to the ages of our kids.
We took the Mickey's Magical Milestone Tour -- I liked it, DD thought it was boring since she had done a report on Walt Disney at school, oldest DS liked it.
Hello--We took the behind the scenes tour 8 yrs agao--so I'm sure it has changed. It was really interesting and fairly long from what I remember. It covered everything from the garbage/waste disposal system to seeing "backstage" where the characters get dressed and ready for the parades, etc. We really enjoyed it. Of course it is for adults, since you don't want to ruin the magic for the kids!
LOL I know what you mean, Natalie! I had been planning our Nov 06 and April 07 trip simultaneously and I just realized last week that our April trip is 3 months away! YIKES! LOL I started looking at the ADRs I'd booked and I called last night to change most of them! I don't know why but I just couldn't get a good grasp on how I wanted the week to work out plus my sister and her family are coming with us and they're not early risers so I'm trying to make a plan that works for everyone *sigh* :)
Anyhoo, we've only done the Family Magic Tour which we loved - the girls wanted to do it again but we haven't had a chance to work that in again.
We did the Living Seas Tour at Epcot in '04 and it was awesome! We got to get into Scuba gear and actually dive in with the fish. It was so cool to be that close to the fish, I even had a shark just a few inches from my face, and that was amazing. My daughter's favorite part was waving to the people through the glass - she said everytime she's been to an aquarium, she always wanted to be that scuba diver you see in the tank, and now she's gotten to do just that!
Our only complaint is that it took a really long time because you have to go through a training session first, and that was our only day at Epcot (bad planning on our part) so we missed a lot of the Epcot rides & exhibits. However, if we had it to do over again, we would still do Living Seas Tour and then just plan a 2nd day at Epcot.
I'm having more trouble with our May trip that I did the first trip I planned.....
I digress. DH did the Segway Tour in 2005 and absolutely loved it. I haven't done any, so I can't say from my experience.
