Tying up loose ends

I think finally I have a doable plan for each day,, but now am tying up loose ends.

1. I have a blackberry and wonder about a phone app to use for lines etc while at MK,, I know Verizon has one but it isn't for blackberry,, any thoughts?

2. We are doing Seaworld one day,, by any chance do disney resorts take you to sea world?

3. On the day we do seaworld we actually have early morning breakfast at Chef Mickeys,, can we drive our car over to that resort and have breakfast and leave directly? I imagine we have a parking pass for Pop century but does it work at other resorts?

4. Does anyone have a loose plan of attack for sea world? we just decided that and I have read basically nothing,, I am doing the pepsi offer along with the seaworld cares for admissions but just wonder with a 5 yr old best shows etc.

5. We are using the Give a Day Get a day vouchers for the super fast pass option,, however I need to "redeem" my voucher,, I am pretty sure I know what date/park we will be using them but if I wind up not using it as I planned can it be used the next day?,, it asks for a date on the redemption but I got no further until I we were getting closer to go time.

6. it looks like a very good chance of rain every day during our vacation,, I hear it is good to go during a rainy time if you don't mind wet,, however will must everything be operational?

As always thanks for your input!

I don't have a smartphone at all, so can't answer this one

No. You can rent a car and call for a taxi or towncar service. Not sure how well public transportation (Orlando buses) would work for you here. Wait..never mind...I see you'll have a car. It would probably be cheaper to drive over & pay for parking.

3. On the day we do seaworld we actually have early morning breakfast at Chef Mickeys,, can we drive our car over to that resort and have breakfast and leave directly? I imagine we have a parking pass for Pop century but does it work at other resorts?

You can park at the TTC. You will be given a pass to park for free at the parks with your resort stay. You will only be allowed to park 3 hours at the Contemporary. You can park at the Cont, eat, then drive & park at the TTC, or you can park at the TTC, grab the resort monorail to the Cont. (which will be the last stop...after Poly, GF, and MK).

4. Does anyone have a loose plan of attack for sea world? we just decided that and I have read basically nothing,, I am doing the pepsi offer along with the seaworld cares for admissions but just wonder with a 5 yr old best shows etc.

We LOVE Sea World..have been 6 times between Orlando & San Antonio. The first thing you need to do when you get to the park is grab a map and decide which shows you want to do. Shamu is awesome, but our favorites are Clyde & Seamore (sea lions) and the pets show (Used to be Pets Ahoy!, not sure if it changed). All the shows are great for kids if they don't mind getting splashed. If they do mind getting splashed, Shamu is going to be hard altogether. For the other shows, if you sit far up it will be okay. Aly never liked water in her eyes, so I packed a small dry towel that she held for when needed. After you decide what shows (that drives your day because there are a few overlapping shows, so you need to plan those out first), then fill in with the other things. We love the penguin house. To get the best view of dolphins without paying for fish, go underground. We usually buy the fish, but the last time we went to Orlando, they "sold out" for the day (they only allow the dolphins to eat so much for the day) quite early (I think it was around 1pm or so).

5. We are using the Give a Day Get a day vouchers for the super fast pass option,, however I need to "redeem" my voucher,, I am pretty sure I know what date/park we will be using them but if I wind up not using it as I planned can it be used the next day?,, it asks for a date on the redemption but I got no further until I we were getting closer to go time.

not sure, but congratulations! What did you volunteer doing?

in the summer, expect daily afternoon rain, but often it's just for a little while. A lot of the outside stuff (shows, Dumbo, etc) will shut down, but most of the indoor stuff is open and operating.

BTW, the parking answer would be null since you'll need your car to get you to Sea World. I answered the second question, then the third, then realized that I needed to change the second answer and didn't realize I needed to change the third.

so I can park right at the contemporary for 3 hours? do I need a pass from TTC?

That really would help things as far as getting us on our way to Seaworld quicker

For the give a day get a day (we did this also and went week before last) you 'redeem' the voucher that you print out at a ticket window within the parks (printing the voucher out does not 'redeem' it).

As M'Shel stated, you just tell the parking guard at the Cont parking that you have ADRs, they may or may not give you an actual pass. You do NOT have to go to the TTC to do this.

I don't have a lot to add, but just a few comments:

4. Does anyone have a loose plan of attack for sea world? we just decided that and I have read basically nothing,, I am doing the pepsi offer along with the seaworld cares for admissions but just wonder with a 5 yr old best shows etc.

I agree - check out the show schedule and plan what you want to see.
