I posted a few weeks ago about my neighbors who were going to Disney with their pre-school boys and were going to "wing it".

I totally agree with you about the planning part. People just don't understand how it really is down there.

I have offered my services to others that I know are thinking about going and so far I haven't had any takers.

Next year we will travling with my mom and her DH and his son. We went with my mom in 2004 (our first trip with NO research - pre ivillage board) and my mom went with them (DH & son) a long time ago - maybe 8 years. They are going to be in for a real surprise when they go with us next time. Things will be planned and fun!

Good thing you got to that one neighbor in time!

I had a neighbor with 4 kids that went to FL for a week, but chose to go to MK for just one day - guess which one - EASTER!! They all came home saying they hated Disneyworld because it was too crowded!!

Personally I wish I could organize my life like I organize my WDW trips!!

One year toward the end of our Disney vacation Larry said "wow, things have really gone smoothly this week", and before I could answer, my wise mother said "things don't just go smoothly, things are PLANNED to go smoothly" couldn't have said it better myself!!

Luckily we here have all seen the light!!!

Hi Colleen! I know that planning a Disney trip can be a bit overwhelming - there's just so much to see and do. But I think you have to know before going that it's virtually impossible to "do it all" regardless of how long a visit you plan.
