Visiting WDW in November

We are planning a long weekend at WDW this November, the weekend before Election Day. It seems to me that's a good time to visit (we have a few days off from school), but just wanted to check if anybody knows anything special about visiting at that time.

I am guessing it won't be super crowded at that time, so I'm thinking about not getting Park Hoppers. When we went to WDW last summer, we had park hoppers, but ended up staying longer at our morning parks than we thought we would -- 3-4:00, when we'd originally planned to stay til about lunchtime. If we don't have park hoppers, can we leave for a while and come back to the same park later for dinner/evening stuff? I'm torn. I was thinking maybe a full day/evening each at MK and Epcot (w/ a rest break in the middle) and then a day at AK w/ dinner at a Disney resort (maybe a show). The last day would probably be a partial day, not sure what we'd do. We might just skip MGM this time, it wasn't a huge favorite.

Can you think of any reason we'd *need* park hoppers for just 3 days? Are there things that are happening (or not happening!) in early November to make a whole day at these parks worthwhile? Any input appreciated, thanks!

I didn't go look up the dates but if that's either Jersey Week or Veteran's day, you will encounter some crowds.

Like cbat1, we visited during Jersey Week....but the year before. We didn't know about Jersey Week ahead of time....and it wasn't a nice surprise for us. There have been mixed reviews, but we would never intentionally repeat a visit during this time. I'm *sure* it's much less crowded though vs. the summer months.

As for the hoppers....we never get them anymore. We tried them once, and like you spent too much time at the first park and then didn't like wasting our time going from one park to the other. It's my opinion that you don't *need* them if you don't want them!

Have a great time. :)
