WDS at Christmastiem?

DH and I are considering going to WDW for Christmas. Unfortunately, Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party ends on December 21. We planned on driving down to Orlando (we live in FL) and spending Christmas Eve and Day at the Magic Kingdom. Has anyone been to the Magic Kingdom on Christmas Eve/Day? Do they have anything going on that is "Christmasy?" Will we see Santa Claus on the park? etc. etc.

My family goes to WDW about every five years at Christmas time. It is the best. Even if you don't make it to Mickey's Merry Christmas Party (which is very cool), the entire park is decorated for Christmas - the costumes, the shows, and each park has a huge Christmas tree right when you walk in. It is awesome. I can't imagine going any other time. However, we usually go the week before Christmas and leave the day after Christmas. It is insanely crowded on Christmas day and that whole week until New Year's. My suggestion is to go before Christmas so you can see as many attractions as possible without spending the whole day waiting in line. I think at the Magic Kingdom alone, they get almost 400,000 people on Christmas day!
Good Luck - Have fun!
Thanks for the heads up! We might go earlier in the Christmas season then. My bday happens to be mid-December so maybe we'll do the MVMCP that week and go somewhere else for Christmas.
