Probably the earliest we've ever booked before the trip!

We are booked for Mardi Gras weekend at All Stars Music (wanted Pop Century, but was $40 cheaper and we can still drive over and get Aly her tie-dye cheesecake...lol...it's not like we were ever close enough to the food court anyway, and the closer we are to the food court, the farther you are from parking).

We have Tony's Town Square booked for our arrival day, but couldn't get LeCellier for lunch (can't pay dinner prices..eek!) any day.

Could you see it from inside?

We've never been to LeCellier. The one time I got it booked, we couldn't go on that trip.

We have one sit-down, and that's plenty enough, but Mike could always decide to throw in the, "Don't you have Whispering Canyon Cafe booked?" line...yes, I get that it's his favorite, but without him telling me so, how was I supposed to know he wanted me to book it????? We got it for that night anyway...yay!

It is really good, I'm not crazy about red velvet cake, which is the crust, but I'm not crazy about graham cracker crust either, so if the crust on my cheesecake is not EXTREMELY buttery, or chocolate (like Oreo), I don't eat it anyway....I like the cheesecake part.

But, years ago I bought a Woman's World magazine that has a few Disney dessert recipes in it, including that one. Except it calls for chocolate graham crackers instead of red velvet cake (I know red velvet IS chocolate..that's why I don't like it...but that's a bit of a difference still). Anyway, I bought the ingredients, and bought red velvet cake mix, and I'm going to bake a small layer red velvet in the pan, then do the cheesecake in that and bake it, and we'll see what happens. I'm hoping what happens is that Aly's happy enough with it, that we don't have to make a trip there...lol.

Oops, going off on a tangent here but M'Shel, I was happy to see a good review for La Hacienda (we're eating there in April). I had heard good things and then Passporter had a unflattering review of the food :(

Is it counter service during lunch and table service during dinner? Is San Angel Inn (inside Mexico) still open?

Alysha - I'm not sure but I don't think they offer lunch after all. I think it was supposed to be initially. La Cantina is still there and is counter-service. And yes, San Angel is still open too :)

Yay for your trip being booked! Sounds like fun! Sorry you haven't gotten LeCellier (yet) - maybe there's still a chance?
