I've pinned down my dates...now the fun begins! I'm hoping for May 12-20, 2007. Only 11 months away. My oldest will be at the end of his first year of middle school (grade 6) and I originally did not want to pull him out of school. The more I think about it, they finish school the first week of June, so he really won't be missing much. As long as he is having a good year academically, I think I'll go ahead and pull him out.

I want that week because May 13 is my mom's 60th birthday (and I *think* it is Mother's Day that day too?). The only thing she wants is to celebrate her 60th in WDW, so I've gotta give her that, right?? *wink* My younger DS will also be turning 8 that week, on 5/17. So, it will be me, my Dh, my mom, and my two boys, who will be 12 and turning 8 when we travel.

We've been in May (the 9-15 in 2004) and we LOVED it...great weather, low crowds. It was the perfect time. We've been in June once before, and hated it (the weather was awful) so we're trying to avoid that at all costs!

I'm pretty certain we'll be staying value because we need two rooms. I'm trying to decide between the Movies (we stayed there in September last year and loved it!) or the POP (for my mom...I'd request the 50's or the 60's buildings...I think she'd get a kick out of it!) Any suggestions on either?? I've never stayed at the POP....

I know we want to be on the dining plan too. We had it free last year and loved it so much, I'm willing to pay for it (even though my oldest is an adult in WDW terms...UGH!). I'd like to try some new restaurants, in addition to the oldies but goodies on our list!

Any input from you guys is greatly appreciated! Just when I think I can't learn anymore about Disney, I come here and learn something new almost every day!

I have stayed at all the values, all the moderates and most of the deluxes. As far as the values go, POP is my favorite because it has it's own bus. You aren't trying to cram into crowded busses to go to three resorts at the end of a long day. I just stayed there in December and it was fabulous. I'm going back for the Food and Wine Festival in sept/oct and I'm staying there again. I also find that it's a bit nicer since it's newer and the food court is better to me.
