What to do if it rains?

There is a chance of rain every day of our trip. Are some of the rides, shows, parades and fireworks canceled due to rain? Can you tell me some of the shows that might offer some shelter at each park if we are caught in a downpour?
TIA
Kathy(who is praying for one nice day at least)

We went to Disney in June 02 and it poured every day we were there. It would start out nice, and by noon, it was downpouring. It didn't stop for the rest of the day. The locals said it had been the rainiest June on record...just our luck!
Disney keeps operating in the rain. We donned our yellow ponchos and made the best of it. After the first day of rain, you stop worrying about your hair, and being wet. Make sure you bring extra shoes. If I knew then what I know now, I would have packed everyone a pair of rubber flip flops in the back pack, to change into if it rained. Socks and sneakers are not comfy when you are soaked!
There are indoor attractions that you can head to....there are several in each park (MK: Carousel of Progress, Mickey's Philharmagic, Hall of Presidents. AK: The Lion King show. Epcot: SEVERAL MGM: The Little Mermaid, Great Movie Ride). Be prepared that if you are wet, and you go inside, it will be cold. They keep the a.c. on and I remember freezing!! Might need a sweatshirt along! But if the rain doesn't let up, you might need to grin and bear it and move on. On our trip, they even had the parades in the rain (not Spectro though...). We found that the rides were shorter in the rain too. As for roller coasters, I'm not sure if those keep operating or not....but I remember doing Dumbo, and Tricertops Spin in the rain.
I will pray for sunshine for you....but if you do encounter rain, try to make the best of it and enjoy your trip!!

PS: If you have a stroller, be sure to pack a stroller cover or an extra poncho to cover it up when it's in stroller parking. Oh, and I hear that stuffing your shoes with newspaper when they are wet helps them dry faster.

How far ahead are you checking the weather? I keep watching weather dot com for our trip that begins in 2 days and the weather looks nice. I don't know when you're going but maybe try that out. I've found that in the past it has been a very reliable source for packing for our vacations.
Oh, never mind what I said. I just rechecked the weather and it changed a bunch since I last checked. Now it's showing 60 % chance of rain where 2 days ago it showed 10% chance. I guess I'll be packing all those beautiful ponchos now.
Maybe we'll get lucky and the rain will disapear by the time our vacations begin!
Thanks for the advice! Good to know where to go in case of downpours. Will pack extra shoes for sure then.
We are planning on being in the parks Nov 21-23 and forecast is 60% chance of showers.
Through the years, we've never had good luck with weather.com being accurate, esp. on that 10 day forecast. Instead, we've found this local news station to be a much better tool:
http://www.local6.com/weather/index.html
Maybe this year I will compare and contrast this site with weather.com, see which ends up being the closest. :)
I always assume we're going to have a couple days of some rain during our visit. It's Florida, after all. I buy a bunch of the disposable ponchos, 2 for $1 at the dollar store. They work great for us, and we can just pitch them when we're done.
The only time I've ever been mad at the rain was when the parade and fireworks were cancelled for MVMCP one year. I wanted to cry! But it was a serious downpour that night. In sprinkles, most everything keeps running.
