Is there a website with the characters and where they come out to meet and greet the kids? I saved the post about Lightening McQueen - we've got to see that one!!
I'm also interested in Buzz Lightyear and the classic characters. Are there any pirates? And how about Lilo and Stitch? Do the villians just mix in with everyone else, or is there a special place?
Last time we went we were on the hunt for ALL the princesses - no one else would do. My girls are way over that, and my son is looking forward to Mickey and Donald and "boy stuff."
Thanks for the help.
BTW, I printed the calendars from the Disney website and we're doing the countdown. I don't think the kids have been thinking about it much lately what with the end of school excitement, but it's ready whenever they feel like taking a look. We're at 55 days!
Ciao! Lori

MGM almost always has character meet and greets going on throughout the day. You just have to pick up the times guide or just walk the park- there is always something going on!
It was even better than I had expected for my 20 month old and 5 year old.
And than if you can I highly recommend the chef mickeys breakfast!!! So great. The characters do such a great job, both just being the character and also making sure that no kid is left out and that if they seem too frightened not to get to close! The food is also really good. It's at the Contempory hotel. Make sure that you make reservations far in advance though- very busy!!

Check out this website, it's pretty good about entertainment at the different parks plus where to see different characters besides at character meals.

I saw Buzz and Woody at Al's Toy Barn at MGM in the morning, I think they were there pretty regularly. And we saw Mickey, Minnie and Pluto at just about every park. Goofy we saw at Animal Kingdom at the close of the park. I don't know if they do this every day but at the close of AK, they had Minnie, Mickey and Goofy all signing autographs outside the entrance. It was really cool.
Didn't see anyone else that you mentioned.
