You know, I think I could do it! What I couldn't do is dine in a sit-down restaurant alone. But going on rides, seeing shows, and grabbing a bite while walking or at a CS place I could do!!
I would think about my kids alot though, and I'd miss them. But sometimes it's nice to have "me" time too!
I have been to Disney quite a few times "touring" by myself while DH was on business trips. I can not recommend it enough. It was nice taking some time to look at the parks on my own schedule. I discovered alot of things that I may not had the time to look at with a group or even just DH. I had more time to chat with a few of the young representatives from some of the countries in EPCOT who are here for 12 months. Shopping great, meals were great. And don't forget if you don't feel comfortable with eating out (which I don't mind doing at all) you can order room service. I could write a very long message on the to do's, but I don't want to bore you. I can just say that it was always alot of fun and I never felt uncomfortable or unsafe. Do what you feel is right. I loved it. It won't be the same experience with DH, but it will be your own experience.

PS - I am fairly independent but I don't get me wrong I do enjoy the parks with my DH and family. Quiet time without them is precious sometimes.
I would so totally go by myself. In fact, it's a dream of mine to be able to do just that.and yes, I could do a sit down meal by myself too. I've already conquered that when I traveld to LA all by myself which was one of the best trips i've taken!

I would totally go by myself. It would be so nice to really take everything in and enjoy the parks from an all adult perspective.
You are going with your family later. Don't feel guilty and I wouldn't worry about feeling lonely.
I say go for it!

Geez....I can't believe I actually looked at my calendar to see if I was free that weekend so I could fly out and join you.
