Would You Ever...

Would you ever consider a resort only trip to the World? Would it bother you to be there but not go in the parks? Do you think there is enough to do for a few days outside of the parks?

We are planning a resort only trip in Dec. It's only for three nights and we are going to Seaworld after that for New Years. I just wanted my "Disney fix" and we can't afford the tixs this time. I have worked on the trip and I think we're gonna have fun just exploring what the resorts have to offer. We're staying at Pop and plan on having some character meals in the resorts and doing things like going to DTD and the Boardwalk. I know we'll have a little bit of wishing to be in the parks, I think that's normal, but overall, I think I have us busy enough not to notice that we're not in the parks. :)

Would you be able to have fun and not go into the parks?

I think you guys read my mind! LOL Here are our plans:

Day 1- Arrive early, head to DTD and shop. Lunch at T-Tex. Head back to Pop and get into our rooms in the afternoon. It's the Boardwalk in the evening with dinner at Garden Grove and stay to see IllumiNations from the bridge.

Day 2- Breakfast at Cape May and then mini golf at Winter Summerland.

Sounds like a great plan!!

Just a word of caution - on the night you do Whispering Canyon and then the Campfire Singalong at FW, make sure you allow enough time to travel to FW from the WL.
