For those who don't know Disney has unveiled a new photo pass program in addition to the CD that has been available. It is $169.95 when pre-ordered and includes a CD with all your Photopass pics plus photo packages from restaurants that offer them and photo packages from the rides. http://allears.net/tp/ppass.htm I am torn at it's value. We will be eating at Tusker House and Chef Mickey's where I'll most likely buy the packages so that will be $60 but most likely we won't use the ride part of the package since my kids are too little/scared for most rides offering photos. Has anyone used it yet? Or maybe just share your experience with the regular CD for me? I am really trying to get DH into a few pics this year since our photo albums are primarily him snapping shots of the rest of us...

Photos are always my main souvenier so I will probably get it. We are doing Chef Mickey, Tusker House and the princess one in Norway so already thats a plus.

Ps I have always got the regular CD. My DH and I always make it almost a game to find the photographers. He is more willing to stand for the pictures since we already bought the CD. In his mind he wabts to get his moneys worth.

We've always pre-ordered the CD, and usually have ~100 pictures on it! In fact, before the price went up a while back, I went ahead and did a pre-order that I was going to use for our April trip... but now I'm thinking that I probably will upgrade to Photopass +.

Even if you only get a few of the restaurant/ride pics, it will be worth the money. And I think it comes with some other perks too. Plus, I know some people that got it have said that the Photopass photographers in the park took a lot of extra time with them when they had it, they got more "magic shots", etc. So, I figure it's worth a try once, especially since it likely won't cost much if any more than buying the photos when we're there.

Wow--it sounds like a great deal!  My first experience with photopass was May 2012, and we will be returning to WDW Oct 2012--I think I'll do the pre-order as we are going to Tusker House, Akershus with the princesses, Crystal Palace, 1900 Park Fare,  and Hollywood and Vine:smileyhappy:  (Gotta love the free dining plan:smileywink:
