I am about 85% done with the kids' packing. ALl their clothes are "Bagged and tagged" and in their suitcase and the boy's carry on is packed. Today I should finish the girls' carry ons then move on to my packing.
One week form today we will be at Animal Kingdom and getting ready to eat at Yak ANd Yeti!!
DH's alarm went off this AM (I was already awake, just laying in bed) and as he stirred to tiptoe to turn it off (HE keeps it in the bathroom LOL!) I whispered "I'm too excited to sleep" to which he chuckled and said "I KNOW!! Me, too!!"
By this time Friday we will be somewhere over the Atlantic coastline jetting our way to MCO!
I am beyond excited to go on this trip that almost wasn't!!
yes, I put each outfit in a gallon sized baggie complete with socks and undies. Then I write the 1st letter of their names on the bag, squish out as much of the air as I Can, and seal it.
I only pack 6 outfits for the 9 days we are there. I do laundry while swimming one day or when everyone has an early night.
Swim suits and jammies fit in quart sized bags and when we come home, dirty or wet stuff has a home in the used bags.
DH LOVES hangers (He will pack just abut everything still on the hangers) so no zip lock bags for him other then his socks, undies and toiletries.
We also "Cross pollinate" bags so that no one will be "Stuck" if one of the bags gets lost. DH and I will have an out fit of each of the kids in each of our bags, and they will also have a set in their carry ons. If their bag gets lost, they will still have 3 clean outfits, plus the one they are wearing to get by with. DH and I only put an outfit each in each other's bag, and extra socks and undies in the kids' bag, plus an outfit in each of our carry ons. They boy also has 2 extra pairs of undies, socks and shorts in his carry on. BUt he is recently potty trained.
I am about 75% packed with my stuff and "room" stuff (snacks, Power strips, multi outlet converters, over the door organizers, etc etc)
We have swimming in a few minutes, then younger DD will go to ILs while Older DD and I will run a few errands. We will pick up DS then return to ILs since we have family in from Arizona.
DH will meet us there. THen we need to book out early ish (Just after dinner) to hit the mall. DH needs shorts and shirts!
I've started to print out everything I need and charging things that need charging - so far one DVD player is 100% charged, the other is on charge now. I have 4 AAA and 4 AA batteries charged - 2 more AA in the charger and 2 more to go! i-pods will be charged tomorrow since they are still in use.
I've charged all the cameras already, packing the chargers as I unplugged them.
I feel very prepared, but still uneasy! LOL!
One week from today we will having a sleep in day, then hitting Epcot. Late lunch at Teppan Edo, then older DD and I will be hitting Cirque while DH and the younger 2 either stay at EPCOT or go back to do some swimming!!
I hope to get our magical express stuff in the next week (because I have to drive up to the travel agent an hour away to get the stuff and once school starts I am at work most of the time they are open)

What do you mean by "Bagged and Tagged?" Are you separating outfits by day? I'm thinking about doing that, too.
