Valentines: Homemade or store-bought?

Just curious :smileytongue:

We always make ours. Mostly because it gives me an excuse to be crafty. I just like the idea of homemade Valentines better I guess! I know there will come a day when the kid roll their eyes at me and beg for "real" store-bought Valentines though.

We always do store-bought cards to hand out at school. It is funny because as a child, we never had store-bought! I have such fond memories of making all of mine to hand out. However, my boys just aren't into it and would just hate to have to make them all. Besides, they love to pick them out with their favorite characters. Sigh...

Well, if I'm being honest, I usually make the Valentines and the kids just sign them. They help a little, but get bored easily. I don't think it's clicked for them yet. They're more interested in the ones they receive than what they're giving. I'm sure that won't last much longer!

I'm not that crafty so we always buy ours. It's bad enough getting them all to fill them out!

I just have the kids sign their names and not say who they're too. It makes them easier to pass out that way too. For DD's this year I just printed her name right on the tag we tied to the bags of candy. Easy-peasy!
