Have you sent yours out yet? Do you prefer store bought, handmade or photo cards?

I have sent them out to my coworkers (for less than $10 I sent personalized ecards to everyone, go me) - But I've been slacking on the ones for family and friends. As for the kinds I like, I do prefer photo or handmade, but if it must be store bought I enjoy them more when there is a personal message inside.

This is our first year of doing photo cards...we ordered on shutterfly and I really love the way they turned out. We also had professional pictures taken and I think this will be a new tradition :)

I always buy my Hallmark cards on 12/26 for the following Christmas so they are 1/2 price. I get really nice beautiful cards and Hallmark makes the best. I sent out my cards on 12/5. The ones for my office co-workers, I passed out this past Monday. With those I tape a tiny Christmas ornament to it. I have done that for years to any card that I personally hand out instead of mail. I keep a Christmas card list of those I sent to and those I receive from. It gives me an idea of who I can drop off my list every year. LOL!

We usually do photo cards. I like putting them together myself. We didn't send any out this year. Christmas just came up too fast, and I didn't even think about cards until it was too late. :(
