I usually post in Girl and Boy Scouts stuff, but I was looking around for horse lessons or time or something since my daughter is so interested. She will go to a horse related camp for girls scouts this summer. But I came across the 4-H stuff listed not too far away. I was just wondering if anyone had an idea of the specifics...would that also be a year-long thing like the 4-H programs I've seen talked about here too?

Around here, the 4-H programs are mostly through the school system, so the year-long programs go along with the school year. There are 4-H camps throughout the summer.

I really wouldn't know how to answer your question since it's not here and every cooperative extension is different. Find out who your cooperative extension is (usually a university) and call them.

I know it's Penn State, but I kinda guessed (although incorrectly) that the same types of programs would be in lots of areas.

I was just trying to press the EASY button and get an answer here rather than going through the proper channels with people I don't know! (LOL, not that I really "know" any of you either!)
