Tigers are going to a soccer game at the high school for their Sports Outing requirement on Sunday.
That's the last of their
Adults had BPI today.
We're finishing up requirements for our Wolf Trail in my son's den.
It was my turn to be in charge of the Tiger meeting. I have a friend from college who is Chinese and lives in Malaysia. He sent me some "goodies" for me and my children. So, I shared the coins, red money packets, Chinese book, Chinese New Year Decorations, and other gifts. We ate mandarin oranges with red spoons. I had them make Chinese Dragons from paper chains and popsicle sticks. And then they practiced their skit for the Blue and Gold dinner. 4 of 5 boys came to the meeting. One of the boys is so rude, distracted, disobedient, disrespectful...And his mom and dad were both there. But they are separated and show much of the same behavior. It really makes the meetings hard and really draws in the one other boy (and the one who didn't show). And my 3 year old was so tired and miserable that he kept pulling on me and touching all my stuff and as much as I like doing these things, this was just not that much fun. In fact, I think the little skit is going to be a little flop because they can't remember 5 words and all the boys have pretty much the same words too. Sorry to be pessimistic, but it could have been a lot better.
I hate days like that...
Still - I bet the kids were excited about the cool things you brought to share with them.
