Jen -

I'm sorry that your presentation was delayed and you were unable to complete all that you planned. I know how frustrating that can be. On the plus side - you got to share something you love to do with other leaders. Hopefully they will be able to share your ideas with their boys :)

I know *I* would attend your class over cyberbullying. I'm more inclined to think people skipped your class because of the time vs. the content.

(((hugs)))

Oh, I know that's the case... but I'm unsure why the local leaders from other packs who did come didn't stop over at all... not even to pick up the papers which were clearly visible.

Does your Roundtable staff make pdf files of Roundtable handouts and email them to the leaders? Ours did that up until last year. I'm not sure why it stopped happening, but I miss it.

No, but our district is trying to create it's own website because the council website is horrendous. They are also trying to manage things more from a district level (like tracking adult training and such) because they don't get the info from council... from what I understand anyway.

About training -- I know our DE can go into the National database and look at all of the training each adult for a unit has recorded with national. That won't cover things that don't get put into the database by the local group. It also does not track things like camp school, range training, BALOO/OWL/WOLT.

THe local Council moved their website to one that is linked with scouting.org. It's better than the original website, but it isn't reliable because changes are not also made to the website. I'm not sure how much of that is because of the staff not doing the updating or the chairs of committees not putting in requests for changes...
