Sean and I arrived towards the end of our Scouting for Food pick up and sorting. I'm not sure how much of it was done by the boys earlier on, but they were playing in the grass with the wagons while the parents did the packing/counting for the most part. There were even a few scout adults who took their kids elsewhere and were by themselves at this point. I didn't quite get the whole points thing either... was that part of a contest? And I overheard that the truck that was supposed to be at the local grocery store wasn't coming so some guy was taking everything to his garage and then trucking it to about 5 different local charities that he called the night before. I'm not sure what that was all about either.

There's a pack meeting this Thursday. That's all I know!

I didn't know that different areas had SFF at different times; ours is always November.

Thanks, well now I also learned that everyone doesn't do it at the same time!

It's so frustrating when an activity isn't planned well with everyone having a clue as to what is going on.
