I don't know why this ends up being an issue EVERY. SINGLE. YEAR.

That has to be frustrating, especially if the forms are electronic. How much easier can it get?

Do you still have a lot of forms outstanding?

I think there are still 12 that need turned in to participate in the event tomorrow. 2 need renewed for March and 1 in April. I keep trying to get them all turned in during the same month so I only have to do this one time a year, but it always ends up being a 1/2 year process. sigh.

I know that my pack does not keep an emergency form for each kid.

When we first started with scouts we kept den files and each leader would bring the forms to events. That worked until we had leaders not attending events...

This year we still have several kids that I am not sure I would recognize / be able to identify. It's terrible. We brought in so many new scouts, I missed 2 of the fall meetings, several of the new kids didn't come to the last two pack meetings, etc. I'm hoping to get better acquainted tomorrow.

All the boys who showed for the race now have forms in, but 2 don't have any immunizations marked off (dads don't know which shots they have had) and another 1 didn't have an emergency contact. Seriously -- the grandparents were at the event with them. WHY can't a grandparent be an emergency contact.
