I'm processing camping paperwork, too. Yippee. I'm so not a paperwork gal.

Wow, how are you keeping this all straight?

Mine is really not so bad.
Tonight we have our regular GS meeting. My dd is in charge of presenting the badge. I honestly don't know if we can squeeze it all in our alloted time. If not we can send part of it home with the girls and have them return it next week. We're doing the Paper Arts IP and our service project is making greeting cards for the nursing home that the girls are donating their cookies to, so we can wait a week if we need to. No big deal.

Next week, the Bears are having their den party for good behavior. It was supposed to be tonight as well but got rescheduled for next week.

We're having a mini meeting about the Europe trip. One of them Moms decided she is going to bring her mom and her adult daughter. Um... No. What part of GIRL SCOUT TRIP are you not getting? So she and I are going to have a heart to heart. If she wants a family vacation then she needs to book a different trip. Ugh. One of the other moms decided that she somehow is in charge and contacted our tour company to find out if we could do a five day trip instead. Um...NO. Hellooooo, who goes to EUROPE for five days? Seriously??? So she and I are also going to have a heart to heart. Some days I wonder how I got myself into all of this:)

Last night I spent an around an hour trying to get to the bottom of my desk. I had to get the attendance records updated, sort through the needs attention file, toss old fliers from past events, update our records for medical forms, get the Friends of Scouting info together, get a deposit ready for the bank, etc. Got quite a bit done, but the desk is still a mess. ugh.

Spent some time going through camp requirements. I have a meeting today with my co-director and the Council staff person. I'm hoping we can get a lot accomplished today.

Busy, busy. I am our SU event coordinator so I am planning the service unit bridging event but unfortunately I am being "helped" by a troop of older girls who need leadership hours. Apparently their leader doesn't think she needs to talk to me about any of it or even respond to my emails. Sigh.

It's so hard to coordinate things with other people. Even when people are easy to work with we are all usually on different time frames. I hope it gets easier for you.

It's more frustrating than anything else. I am supposed to keep on top of what things she is doing and make sure all the items are checked off my list but if she won't even TALK to me, I have no way of knowing what has been done and what hasn't.
