So, what do you wear? To meetings???
To answer my own question
I wear my work clothes, with my pins, to regular meetings.
i havent been to any FORMAL event.
to meetings i wear normal attire, tee/shorts etc and my green tab with insiginias.
to events and outings i wear a scout Tee and tab with insignias. i actually bought a teen shirt...says nothing about cadettes or SR's on it and it has a more modern fit. i am young and small so it works GREAT!
our council seems very casual and to big service unit events(100+ partcipants)
For meetings, I wear whatever I have on that day... usually jeans and some shirt. When we have a guest speaker or are doing something as a field trip or service project, I wear my green polo that says Girl Scouts... sometimes with insignia, sometimes without.
My girls always wear their red school gym uniforms to meetings since they have gym every Wednesday. They wear their khaki pants and white shirts from school and sash/vest when we wear uniforms to anything.
I've never been to anything formal, but I'd probably wear navy blue pants (since that's what I own) and a white shirt with my insignia. I do not ever plan to own a scarf. I'd have the girls wear their school uniform with vest/sash. I did know about the adult "uniform" right when they decided upon it.
