Need help with a GS Law scavenger hunt

Hi! I need some creative input. We have done all our petals. But we have 6 girls of 12 who need to make up petals. (grumble, grumble, grumble) Monday is our next to last meeting. I was trying to think of a creative way to do Petal make ups (5 petals total) that would still be fun for all the girls. Some girls need more than one petal.

My idea is to do a kind of treasure hunt or scavenger hunt throughout the school that would begin and end in our meeting room, which would help the girls make up missed petals and re-cap the Promise and law in a fun way.

One idea was to make a banner and cut pieces of felt for petals, gather the petals as we go to add to each stop on the hunt, then use the banner as a decoration at our bridging (then save it for future use wiht my next Daisy Troop). So 5 stations could be petal worthy, and 5 could just be a quick re-cap. But this seems like a LONNNNNNG activity. This is only an hour and fifteen minute meeting!

At this point I'm stumped because I'm pressed for time, my dds bday is Saturday and my inlaws are coming to town. My co leader is similarly stressed.

Any suggestions?

I did a lot of searches, but couldn't find an already-made GS Law scavenger hunt. Here are a couple of sites that have petal ideas:

Maybe they will be able to help you out a bit.

Good luck!

Thanks for the help Homey! Here is what I ended up doing. We started off by rehearsing for our ceremony...I made a flannel board with felt center and petals. We read the law as we pulled each petal out of the envelope, and then the girls put them around the center. But when we got half way, there were no more petals! There was a note in the envelope that explained the petals were missing because some girls still needed to earn them, and gave us the first clue. We did a scavenger hunt that took the girls to locations throughout the school where they have demonstrated that they are girl Scouts already this year. For example, Stephanie needed a friendly and Helpful petal, so her clue took her to the place she took Elin when she fell on the playground...the nurses office! Etc.

Might have been cheating a tiny bit, but considering how well we covered all the other petals, I don't feel too bad. (some needed as many as three petals) The girls had a BLAST! I hope to do many more scavenger/treasure hunts in the future.

I had to leave the meeting early because my dd felt rotten, turns out she had strep. But now we are DONE with petals and ready to wrap up for the year!!!
