We did the "baking Brownies" ceremony. It was really fun! We leaders wore aprons and oven mitts and sprinkled each girl with bird seed before they went into the oven. Then read a little bio of each girl while she was baking. The girls loved it! We had nothing but brownies for refreshments, and no ordinary brownies allowed!!! Only "special" ones (ghiardelli, turtles, etc.) for our special Brownies!! Boy oh boy am I glad it's over though!! LOL I'd like to clean my house again or at the very least, stop making lists!!!

Here's to spending the summer planning for next year!!! I'm a glutton for punishment!!

YAY!! Congrats on bridging! We do ours tomorrow and I am just a nervous wreck! We have decided to have it at a park and the weather has been absolutely BEAUTIFUL all week long, and now it's overcast! Argh!!!! At any rate I am right there with you planning for the next year. We have chosen to keep meeting over the summer and we will be doing Brownie things. I have already oK'd it with my council, as long as we don't hand out try-its before Oct 1st we are good to go!

Have a great summer!

KEWL BEANS!

We did the baking brownies thing too and it was a blast! We were ALL nervous as it was our first scripted ceremony but decided just to have fun with it:) Two of us were the speakers and the other was the baker so she wore the apron and had flour all over her face and even a HAIR NET! LOL We found this cute ceremony late so me and one of the other Leaders made a cute stove out of a huge box and covered it with colored paper...ya, that was hilarious! We hid the vests inside of the "oven" and the girls went in wearing smoks and came out with the vests on. This year for our year end celebration we are just handingh out awards and earned try its and the girls are doing a cute skit. We just try to have fun and you sure sound like you're going to have a BLAST next year too!
