How long does it take you to receive a reimbursement from council?

I would be ticked. There is no excuse for that. The local BS Council can take just over a month. It depends where they are in the monthly cycle.

I did have one check take a few months to come, but that was because it got flagged for some reason and then it was not followed up on until I called to complain.

I'm wondering what you need reimbursements for from the council?

I wondered the same thing. I got a check from them recently because they cancelled something we registered for, but normally, no checks from council. Even at cookie sales, the money goes into our accounts and we pay council what we owe. We keep the rest.

For me...

paying to put my kid in an activity and then ending up on staff. I applied for reimbursement since staff's kids go for a discount

purchasing items for daycamp at the last minute because enrollment was not stopped early enough to have a purchase order for all of the items.

The Pack...
reimbursement for overcharging for a camping trip.

a scout missing an event due to a severe car accident. Council sent the pack a check - the pack reimbursed the family. (really nice of the council to refund the money)

Also....

Put down deposits when camping in council facilities, and get that returned when you check out and leave everything in good condition.

Ok, I haven't had to have many reimbursements, I guess I'm just not that involved.

In the past it's mostly been money put down as a security deposit on a camping facility.

I had no response to my first 3 attempts to collect the $100. When I e-mailed and cc'd a lot of other paid staff onto the e-mail, I got a quick response to me personally that said she was waiting till I returned the stuff I owed. I responded to her to say that I never checked anything out- I don't have any outstanding contracts and I followed her proceedures exactly for the t-shirt stuff... and her next response to me was- oh, I see that now... you never got anything from us... I'll submit your request right away. So, I want to know why she never contacted me to say she thought I had stuff out (competition was first weekend in December) and why she never responded to my requests for reimbursement? It's now a full 3 months since I put out this money.
