Well, we are back from our trip to Savannah, GA- Birthplace of Juliette Low, founder of Girl Scouting in the USA.

That sounds like such a fantastic trip! Savannah is one of those places I've always wanted to visit (DH too). The Pirate House seems like a place we'd enjoy. How did the girls do?

The girls were all fantastic... they stuck together... were very interested and involved during every program... got out of the pool when I told them it was bedtime... it was perfect. Their hotel room did look rather like that of a messy teenager (from the moment they entered until the moment we checked out. They spent their money wisely on meals and souvenirs. They tolerated the crowded minivan and the long hours- by watching the Harry Potter movies! That part was funny because it was hard to get their attention as we were nearing rest areas or meal times!

It sounds like it was a wonderful trip. I'm glad you had a good ime with the girls. This will be something they always remember and will appreciate even more when they are older :)
