I just saw a video on Today regarding the MaterniT21 Plus blood test, which screens for genetic abnormalities without the same risks as doing an amniocentisis. It can also let you know the gender of your baby as early as 10 weeks of gestational age.
I was a bit surprised at the high cost of the test, around $2000 according to the video, and I believe is only available to high risk mothers.
Would you want to know gender this early in a pregnancy? Is this test something you would want to do in your pregnancy?
