My name is Kinslee and I am new here. I am 28 and the mom of three awesome little boys. My husband and I have decided to try again....we would love to add a little girl to our family. I know that there are ways to do this but I am not sure how to get started. If any of you have advice or success stories I would Love to hear them.
TIA.

Welcome! I am more of a lurker here and rarely post.

I am Sara, 27 and a mom of 3 boys as well. Dec/Jan we are going to go for our fourth and final child. I finally convinced dh.

I plan on doing supplements and testing ph. Getting ready to start all of that probably in the next few days as AF is due to arrive. I am trying to get Dh on board with taking some supps and letting me test his ph.

in-gender has lots of info.

Welcome, there are so many posts on here and luckily ivillage archives everything, so you can always use the search this board option and find specific things. Since you are interested in ttc a girl, try searching "girl sway" first. Really just start reading, you will learn so much from the girls on here. The current post about supplements will give you lots of info and there is a link to another site that will directly take you to one page of info that is essential stuff for ttc a girl. Generally, plan on having a few months to chart your cycle and take supplements BEFORE you ttc, and conceiving a girl can take longer because of the timing.
Sarah, mom of 5 boys, has been charting for a YEAR and taking supplements for 2 months before she even made her first girl attempt last week.
There are lots of success stories on here. Mia just had her little girl after three boys, and we have another lady pregnant with her girl after 3 boys.
I used Dr Shettles "How to choose the sex of your baby" to conceive my two boys and my SIL just got here Shettles boy too. We may be using the girl technique in this book for our third and final this spring, but I cannot decide if I really want to or not. My DH and my oldest DS would love to add a sister, but I am loving the idea of 3 boys myself. Time will tell. I go back and forth, yesterday, I was all about the girl attempt, now I'm questioning it again!!

So read all you can, ask lots of questions, and stick around.

Hi Kinslee, I am a mom to 3 boys as well! I have infertility problems, so because we have to do IVF anyway, we have decided to go the high tech route and do micro-sort!! I just got my appointment for next Friday. I have read lots on things you can do (although I had not heard Crystal light, I drink about 20 of those a day, I should have all girls LOL. Anyway, good luck, it is fun to meet other mommies of wonderful boys, hoping for a sweet girl!
