Well, I am all messed up this month. I am currently really confused about my ovulation, because I accidently missed a temp and temped late on the day before. So, I have no idea what is going on this cycle. I am currently in a wait-and-see mode.

I think people that have trouble with temping should try a fertility monitor like CBFM,i tried temping years ago and never really got clear cut answers in FF,i got my monitor and was pregnant in a couple months. I think it just does not work well for some like me...i toss and flip and uncover myself and recover myself all night long.I think seeing the low-high -peak readings made it easier for me to figure out my cycle.Remind me again what happened with your ovulation last month...did you o really early or something?

AF came last Friday and put an end to TTC cycle #3. I'd felt very sure about our last attempt and our sway for a boy (we BDd about 6 hours before O), so I'm pretty disappointed. In fact, I'm starting to wonder, because my "Taking Charge of your Fertility" book says to seriously consider fertility testing once you've been TTC for about 4 months AND charting to know that you're timing intercourse exactly right for ovulation. That's what we've been doing, so I feel like if it doesn't happen next month, I may need to worry. DH thinks 4 months is still way too early, even with charting. I'm not really concerned yet either, but I do wonder what you think.

Anyway, I haven't been on the board so much because I'm just getting tired of this TTC business in general. Sad, isn't it? I know there are others here to whom 4 cycles of TTC is nothing, and I'm just a big whiner. But it does cheer me up to read about BFPs going on!

Well right now I'm on the supplements - Magnesium, Cranberry, Calcium, Yogurt Caps, and Folic Acid - and I'm drinking TONS of Crystal Light. I'm still waiting to O this month - since I O'd twice last month and it screwed up my cycle. I'm planning on TTC next month!!! So excited!!!

Yeah, I have been ovulating very early, real close to my period. And, this month my period came late and my temps were a little higher. On top of that, I have 2 null temps on days that I would most likely be ovulating. So, this month is messed up for me. I hate to spend the money on a fertility monitor, but if it comes down to it, I will.

Hey Julia, I was wondering about you. It took us 6 months to conceive our second DS, and I know I was perfect with my timing, never had any doubt. After the third month, I got really down, just like you are now. I even called my dr. Now you have to know my doc to understand this, but she started laughing at me. At the time, I got all bent out of shape, but looking back, I was really worked up over nothing. She told me that 3 months is nothing, 6 months is really nothing, and to talk to her after 9 months. Even with timing, things don't always line up. And she was right, I relaxed after that, and 3 months later, I forgot all the disappointment of the previous months. So hang in there, and keep it up!

My doc is completely down to earth and so easy to talk to, she says things like...
"when you squeeze this baby out" instead of "at delivery"
"you should totally deliver this baby, its really not that hard" to my DH
"Are you still puking?"

So laughing after three months of trying was actually right on for her.

Good Luck, I know your time is soon!

I think everything has it's own time and we can plan all we want but it means
Nothing to the stars! Ds1 took 10 months,ds2 1 month,ds 3 10 months then a mc then 4 months,ds4 5 months ds5 5 months and baby 6 1st month ttc. It's hard not to stress but try your best and don't even begin to get nervous until your approaching the one year mark.

well, i didn't think we would have an attempt as i did not O last month and with my monitor, it was still saying nothing on day 13. i was having spotting early last week and i called my dr to see if this was concerning with the no O and they wanted to see me. Well, since i though no O again, i was hit or miss with my supps and laxed with my diet. Low and behold thursday AM i got my peak reading meaning -36 hours after you O. I O like 20-24 hours after the reading as i think it was in the middle of the AM or first thing in the AM. I got my O pains starting around 10 at night and they continued thru the AM so that is my best guess. We had previously BD'd Wednesday evening around 9 not knowing so it looks like i have a about 1 1/2 day cutoff (maybe a bit). I did take all my supps that on Thursday and the day of O. Only thing going for me was we had not BD in almost 6 days (one time occurance unlike other DS's), both of them were o days and we had a bit of a cutoff with this one, i was drinking about 4-5 glasses of crystal light still that week, no breakfast in the AM, lost 2lbs, and was drinking cranberry and vodka's the 2 nights before. We shall see. i also used acigel the morning i go the peak but i am sure the "guys" would have made it up there arleady, just hoped to freeze and keep PH low. i also took sudafed that AM to dry things up but i
