I did the shirt idea with both pregnancies--my first pg, I made big brother/sister shirts for our 4 dogs, and DH found out that way. With my 2nd pregnancy, I couldn't wait and just showed him the test, but posted a picture of Evan wearing a big brother shirt on Facebook to announce it to extended family/friends.

That is so cute, Sara! I think with DH, I'll just tell him and he'll want to see the test. With our familes, a card sent in the mail would be a nice surprise.

We're big Star Trek fans... it would be hilarious to me if I got a baby Star Trek onesie and gave it to him with a card saying "Captain, I will reporting for duty in 9 months."

I'm thinking of getting cards for our parents saying "Grandma and Grandpa, happy Fourth of July! (or whatever holiday.) See you in 9 months. love, Baby."
