Day to day I don't have a strong preference, I would love both. S asked me recently though I said girl. He's also made some comments lately about little girls we see out in public and how cute their little outfits are, etc.
I have one of each so no REAL preference... but we do have a girl name chosen, no boy name... and I really enjoy the bows and dresses so... a girl would be nice... I am also 100% sure that #3 will be a girl anyway.
Well, being that I already have two very handsome, very active, sometimes ornery little boys... a little girl would be sort of wonderful. :) I've been hoping and praying that a little girl would be in our future, but you never know. We seem to be pretty good at making boys... haha. ;P
DH really wants to have a girl, but for some reason I find myself adoring the little boy's clothes with dinos and monkeys on them! So I hope we have a girl first because he's so deadset on one, but my heart seems to be thinking boy :)
I was buying boy clothes as soon as I got a BFP with Peter, and I've got a boy's name picked out for #2 as well. I would love a daughter, but I'm scared of girls!
Me and DH both would love to have a girl to be our first. Reason is, I think girls being older than boy siblings works out better, I think I subconsciously want a girl because I had an older brother who was very mean and made fun of me daily growing up, he's 29 now and our relationship is fine now, but growing up he really hurt me emotionally by making fun of my weight and I somehow have it in my head that I want the girl to be older because girls are "more mature" and wouldn't do that. Plus, girls clothes are so much cuter and I'm such a girly girl, i want to dress her up like a doll and do her hair. And I want to have the first girl grandchild and the first girl great-grandchild (I am the only girl grandchild on my mom's side) and my husband is 1 of 4 boys and I know my mother in law would also adore a girl.........however, don't get me wrong, if I have a little boy I will love it to pieces!!!! lol
I totally get the whole wanting a girl to "dress up and do her hair." Me too! I'm a hairstylist! Oh, the fun I could have with a long head of hair.... sigh. ;P I'm SUCH a girly girl. My boys love that about me, though. I think it makes them all feel super manly, haha, DH included.
I've always noticed there is something special about a mom with all boys. I think it would be nice to be the woman of the house. Lot's of men loving you. :) It's sweet.
I've got 2 boys, so a girl would be nice. Also, I have 3 brothers and always wanted a sister. Someone to do "girl" things with. DH would love a girl as well, but said he would be OK with 3 boys. Yikes!!
