So DH and I have figured out the names that we LOVE for our future kiddos--

Girls:

Clara Kate M.

Hannah Rose M.

Boys:

Caleb James

Luke Bennett

and.. We actually really like the name Rylen, or Rylan

I know we have a while to wait yet, but before now, we did not have ANY girls names that we both fell in love with...such a relief!

I like siblings that sound good together but personally the rhyming or those that all have the same first letter I'm not really into. I have a friend who named her children Kaylin and Waylan and it bothers me to say them together. Just to matchy matchy for me.

As for names we like

Girl names:
Briar Kaye
Tabitha Kaye
Kyrie Kaye (DH isn't to sure on this one)
Millie Kaye (we both really like Millie but can't find a full name we like)

Boy names:
Ryker/Riker
Cooper
Weston
Donavin
Levi

We are not set on a boy middle name. Kaye is a combo of our mothers middle names (Kay and Kae) so that one was easy. The last two boy names are names we made up using our fathers names. Though if we have a set of boy twins we would probably give each a middle name from one of the grandpa's. We have been looking at names for well over a year now. The top runner has changed a few times to!

Cute names Cassie!

Rose and Marie are family names in my mother's side, so we really love those, and using Kate as a middle name is as close as we can get to using Kaitlyn-- one of our favorite names-- but we can't because of my first name.

Well originally I told DH that he needed to knock me up with a set of twins that was one of each so we could be done in one shot. Then I had a dream that we had a set of twin boys and a little girl. So now I am wanting twin boys first. Though I know I don't have control over that. MY dad is actually a twin so I can hold out a little hope.

If we had the twin boys it would make naming them easier. My father is Donald Lee and his father is Peter Calvin.

Dh and I really like Ryker/Riker... we are now just arguing (not really) about whether to use the Y or the I. DH wants I and I want the Y. I put up a poll on the baby names board and the votes went for the Y 76% to 22%. Is that sad that I did that and we are not even trying yet? lol

Baby Names are fun!

DH and I have changed our top picks alot, so I'm gonna start with the old favorites :-)
Old:
Autumn Rose
Sierra Rose

Current Favorites:

One of the hardest things for me is that I do want to honor family members, and the top names do (Olivia in honor of DH grandma, Joy in honor of mine, Rose in honor of my other grandma, and Graeme is DH's brother's name), I am so conflicted about the fact that not everyone can be included. And to be honest, I don't think I would want to even if I have enough kids. DH's other grandma's name is Shirley... and I don't like the name, and truthfully, she should be the one that deserves the most honor because she practically raised him for the first few years of his life! So then, another part of me wants to completely not use any family names so that I am not "choosing favorites."

Anyone else have issues with that?

I used to loooove the names Madison Avery for a girl and Hayden Tucker for a boy... but now I'm not so sure about them. I still like them, but they are no longer on the very top of my list.

Now my top ones are Madelyn Mae for a girl (MAE are my married initials) and then Jayden Mitchell for a boy (DH initials are also JME and his mom's maiden name is Mitchell) I really like the name Adrian (which is my dad's middle name... but I can't think of a good middle name to go with it if I use it as a FN)

I would also really like to figure out a way to use the name George as a middle name because that was my Papa's name.

And then of course I have always thought that Hope was a good/cute name... and I would love to find a way to use Dahlia as a name because my maiden name is Dahl. Maybe Dahlia Hope?

I just don't know!
