How is everyone doing with their weight loss/ get fit goals?

Hi everyone! I'm Meagan, pretty new to the board but I've been around ivillage for 8+ years. WTT for #4 and as I've mentioned before I'm trying to get in really great shape before we TTC.
Last week was my kiddos first week of school and it kicked my butt. I was so exhausted and although I got off to a great start with Yoga on Sunday and a run on Monday morning that's as far as I got. This week I've been way better with my sleep. I went to bed early last night and woke up feeling amazing. I also got a good run in this morning and then came home and made boiled eggs with avacado, tomato, salt and pepper. It was delicious and surprisingly filling, I couldn't even finish it. Since protein is important after you exercise the eggs and avacado were perfect, plus avacado has amazing health benefits! For lunch we had spinach and artichoke grilled cheese sandwiches with mozarella and olive oil instead of butter. I usually snack on a few raw almonds and raw fruit/ veggies if I need to but breakfast was so filling I didn't even want anything. After school gets out we usually have a smoothie to hold us over until dinner. We make fruit smoothies with greek yogurt, banana, strawberries, mango, ground flax seed and some milk. I've been using coconut milk and it is so good!
I definitely believe that you lose weight in the kitchen and tone up with exercise but I am not one to eat "low fat" options and starve myself. I have found there are ways to eat healthier fats that are high in the nutrients your body needs and still lose/ maintain your weight. It's a lot more fun to get healthy when you do it the right way and aren't hungry all the time.
Anyway, just wanted to see if anyone else is working on their health before they TTC and how it's going! Would love to have a buddy or 2 on my get fit journey.
