on our TTC month!! We were wavering between June, July or August and we officially decided that JULY is our month to start Clomid and TTC, no matter what! I have such baby fever now too! I started taking Prenates over the weekend and I also got out an issue of Fit Pregnancy from the library (just to see what's new and stuff).....also my parents are moving so I've been forced to reclaim cribs and baby clothes that were stored over there. I found this little onesie that was DS's that says "Too Hip for Purple Dinosaurs"...AHHHHHHHHH!! Sent me over the edge..I want to try NOW!!

BUT....and get this...I went shopping on Saturday and I bought a SIZE 8 dress from the Limited!!! SIZE 8!!!! I am ENJOYING THIS!! So that's what I am going to try and concentrate on for the next 3 months (almost exactly!) is shedding those last 12 pounds and taking those prenates (I am BAD at taking pills).

Happy Monday everyone!!

Yeah!!! Congrats on setting your date. July is coming right up!!! If you get pg right away, you'll have a spring time baby! I have major baby fever after seeing all the little clothes that my best friend has bought for her baby due in July. I want to start now too!!!

Just curious, why will you start clomid right away? Sorry if you've said before, I can't remember.

Good job on the weight thing too. I'd LOVE to be a size 8!! (I say as I eat a peanut butter cup! LOL) Keep up the good work!

I started charting about a year ago. After about 6 cycles, I noticed that I was having anovulatory cycles and made an appointment with my OB/GYN. They ran tests and discovered that I no longer ovulate b/c I am not producing enough progesterone (I think ?) to allow my body to ovulate on it's own. So we know we have to take it to help "kick-start" that process...it was nice to find out all this ahead of time so we are fully prepared. We have the Rx sitting at home waiting to be filled!

That's great news, July will be here before you know it! I've also have a DS and have baby fever BAD, my little guy will be TWO this weekend and I can't believe how fast it has gone. I think I have baby fever worse waiting for #2 since I now know what to expect and how awesome motherhood is! :)

Congrats on setting your date!

I totally agree that while anticipating your 1st is an awesome feeling...waiting for # 2 is even harder b/c you want to experience that feeling again...that's what kind of scares me with this whole "secondary infertility" thing...what if I *don't* get to have that feeling again? Is that better or worse? Just little thoughts I ponder.

That's great that you're ahead of the game! DH and I are trying to be as prepared as possible too. I started charting even though I'm still on the pill- just to get into the habit. We had his sperm count checked because his dad had a low count and sure enough, so does DH! So he's having surgery to correct 2 varicoceles. Hope Hope Hope that helps!! He's also taking vitamins that could also help. I go to the OBGYN tomorrow for a pre-conception visit and stuff. I want to talk to him about the fact that I used to have irregular cycles before the pill and what affect that may have.

I was wondering... sorry for being nosey.. but is clomid a shot, pill, or what? How often do you take it? Is it expensive?

Congrats! Wow, it seems like a *big* day over here at WTT! Sounds like you are well on yr way! July will be here before you know it.

Congrats on the weight loss too! It sounds like you've made tons of progress.

I LOVE fit pregnancy and just bought a copy at the store over the weekend (right in front of dh's watchful eyes!). I can't wait until I'm pg for real to get a subscription...

Hope you'll join us over at P for P when the time comes!

No problem Laney - Clomid comes in pill form ..in 2 or 3 different levels (50mg, 100mg). Depending on your specific problem I think depends on when you take the pill, which is for 5 days. I think my RX is written for days 5-9 of my cycle and DH and I are supposed to BD days 11-22!! I *think* Clomid is around $50 a cycle...I could be wrong on that though....

Wow! July is coming up soon! How exciting! I bet baby clothes take on a whole new meaning when you decide to start TTC. And congratulations on the size 8. You should be very proud of yourself for that:)
