Hi! I used to frequent these boards a couple of months ago, but then my job just got so busy that I didn't have the time. But now I'm back:)

My DH and I just bought our first home! We are very excited but also shocked by how much money we are going to be spending. Originally I thought we were going to TTC in Spring 2004, but now it's looking like it will be delayed. I'm turning 30 next week, and while I know that I'm still young, I do worry about fertility issues.

I'm looking forward to getting to know all of you and participating in some serious, and not so serious, discussions:)

Welcome Stephanie! I am almost 29, and so can relate to the "getting older" concern. I know plenty of people who didn't start til early 30s. Congratulations on the house! We have yet to get into that mode haha! still trying to pay some things off so I can stay home when we have kids.

I am a graduate who still likes to hang out here. I miss the familiarity and warmth I received here for 9 months! I just started TTC #1.

Welcome back, Steph! In case you don't remember me, my name is Aisha, DH is Shah, and we live in Australia. We have a 2 year old daughter named Ammarah and we're hoping to start TTC #2 in December. Congratulations on your new home!! That is so exciting! Happy birthday for next week, too! My birthday is this Friday, so it looks like we're both Cancerians :) I hope you're able to settle on a TTC date that you're happy with.

Neh.. .you are never too old to TTC! But I understand your concerns. I recently turned 29 and I think I'll be TTC Jan 2004 or sometime around then.

With medical advancements these days, women could be having kids at 40!

I have an aunt who tried for 10 years and finally had a kid at 36.

Another one had a kids when she was 37.

So, good luck! Congrats on your new house. that's a good start.
