Yep, it's me, the eternal WTTer and former cl-sohappilyme. I am EMBARRASSED about leaving the board, but I think it worked out very well b/c Jamie, you ROCK!! This is my first visit back since my last post, which was...when? LOL. I hope you all are still speaking to me!

I've only been back on iVillage for a couple of weeks, on a weight loss board. That's my big goal for WTT...getting down to--what else--130! (Referencing my screen name there). I have to get down there...I'm high risk for diabetes and I want to be healthy. My "baby" is toddling along (the first one I've had to walk before that first birthday) so my baby fever is kicking in BIG time! Now I'm in the countdown mode: 11 months to go, LOL.

I hope you all will have me back. I'm not going to be a daily poster, but I'll try to stay regular. I look forward to getting to know you all again! This feels like a warm and familiar place to me. I'm comfortable here! Big congrats to Jamie...I'm glad you got in there!

Well, if it isn't Sarah! I was beginning to wonder whatever happened to you! Glad to hear you're still alive and hopefully we'll see more of you. The board's been super slow - would like to get it a lot more active, but that's tough! LOL.

Oh my gosh! I can't believe you're going to be trying #4 in less than a year! I remember when you were still WTT #3 and now he's a year old. LOL. That's just crazy - time goes by so fast.

Well, as you obviously caught on from my other post, things are going so much better for DH and I (I promised myself 2004 would be a better year!). He got a full time job working on a military base making more money alone than when he and I both worked full time - plus it's a technology related job, so he loves it. Right now he's on contract, which will hopefully go until May - then we're outa here.

So, finances are sooo much better, which alleviates so much stress.

And, yes, here I am after thinking I would die without having a baby, ready to wait over another year. Last year, my friend got pregnant then had a M/C, then shortly after got pregnant again. This led to a strange series of events, which is why I never really mentioned it (2nd pg). I never really dealt with those jealousy issues (actually, more pity issues) again, due to the wierd circumstances, and now it's just part our lives. Anyhow, her being pregnant and facing parenthood really put into perspective for me, how BIG it all is. I'm watching her miss out on so much, drifting away from her best friends, and it will be permanent. It kind of made me realize I REALLY SUPER want to make sure,

Yep, a lot changes when those babies start coming! I've drifted away from some friends, but have developed several new friendships, and they seem to be much closer than my old buddies...I guess we have a lot to bond over. Heck, I can bond with a stranger in the grocery store when our eyes meet over a screaming toddler (hers or mine, LOL)--instant sisterhood and mutual understanding, LOL. It is, however, a step you should be mentally ready to take. They say the first half of your life is ruined by your parents and the second half is ruined by your kids (LOL!) Enjoy that transition zone!

Hi.

Unfortunately for said friend, right now I think she's drifting away more or less due to sign. other and because I really think she's afraid to hang around us, though she's been coming around a lot more. She's a lot like me - young, crazy, fun. I think because we're still out doing what we normally do (drink, shop, vacation, etc) and she's just kind of stuck she feels the need to "back off". Since the baby was unplanned, I think she's a bit sad she's missing a lot of this part of her life (recently 21, crazy friends, college
