Hi all! I was a frequent person here about a year/year and a half ago! I gave birth to my first son in April. Now that I'm back into the swing of things...work, schedule, etc. I wanted to come back here! DH and I have already decided to go off the pill on our son's first birthday, so I have some time to wait. Can't wait to get to know you all! I had a blast here last time. I won't consider myself an expert by any means, but I think I was very organized and read read read while I was waiting, while I was pregnant, so if you have any questions, I would love to try to help!!! Thanks for reading! :D

I am trying to think of whether or not you were here when I was here last. I started posting here in Aug 2002 when my dh and I were waiting to try for #2 and then graduated early when we were surprised with a pregnancy in February 2003. Ethan was born October 15, 2003. His brother Johnathan (born 1/16/01) started preschool last week. My dh have decided to go off the pill in Aug '05. I'm going to have to look back and see if you were here when I was. Anyway, welcome back!

Jayme, mom to Johnathan (1/16/01) and Ethan (10/15/03) and WTT #3 (Aug '05)

I thought I recognized your name....you don't usually see Jayme spelt that way :D I was here from about October 02 to Aug 03....I used to pop in and check in on people, but it got so slow. For a while it seemed it was just Jamie (jamiepea) that was here. I'm glad to see that it's gotten busier!!!

Yes, I just went back through the archives, and found you, and now I definately remember you! So, you had a boy? What's his name? We have Ethan James. Welcome back. It's nice to see a familiar face.

I like the name Ethan! And, he's almost a year! How exciting :D I read about Jonathan a little lower down on the board. I'll be thinking of you! It's gotta be rough with insurance. I always find it strange the stuff they won't pay for!

Yep, had a son. Asher Elwood. Asher is my maiden name and Elwood is my DH's grandpops first name. He's just a little pistol right now! We think he's teething. So, his always happy, sunny disposition is a little off right now! haha

it is nice to see this board a little busy again!

I read so many things, but the best ones I read were:

preconception:

Before Your Pregnancy by Amy Ogle

I never needed this, but a lot of women on the trying to conceive boards used this book:

Taking Charge of Your Fertility by Toni Weschler

Pregnancy:

Your Pregnancy Week by Week by Glade Curtis (this one wasn't the most cohesive one, because sometimes they were talking about things weeks after they happened, but it was nice to see the weekly guidelines

And any book by Dr Sears. I read the pregnancy one, the breastfeeding one, the delivery one, the attachment parenting one.

Those were my favorites. I did read a lot more, but started to get confused as to what was in each one! haha. But, the first book mentioned above was AWESOME! I loved that one. There are very few pre-pregnancy books on the market, and some just seem odd, but this one was so awesome!!

Ok, sorry about the "book" hahaha
